I’m a teacher, homeschool educational consultant, and curriculum developer. I advocate for opportunities and environment that help kids grow their curiosity.

I have a degree in Middle Level Education and have taught in public, private, and homeschool settings. My specialties are math, science, language arts, and arts & crafts. I’ve had experience and/or researched a variety of education models including Montessori, Waldorf, Emilia Reggio, Unschooling, and Classical Education. I’ve homeschooled my own two kids for the last 8 years. During this time, I started a homeschool community in Akron, Ohio, homeschooled and taught homeschool classes for three years in California, and then moved to NE Ohio, where I currently teach a variety of homeschool classes and activities. For fun, I enjoy reading, hiking, gardening, star-gazing, camping, and making things.
